Carving rasps anyone?

They shave wood off like a bunch of small block planes. I have some similar. For the cost I would get a good cabinet makers rasp,which I like better. And a good scraper.

I haven't used them but they look interesting.
For any Canadians thinking of getting one, they are available at Lee Valley Tools, but not as big a selection.
