Do you guys sand the glass on your lam bows then finish over it or do you just let the glass alone?

Sand the finish off of it then finish like you would other wise. I use 150-220-320-400 grit papers myself, others may use lighter grits.

Sounds good I am doing my first glass lam recurve a little different from all wood lams like I am used to

On my own personal bows , I like a flat finish,and stop at  150 grit....   :o      :D

Yes , be sure to sand the slick off the glass, just rough it to where the finish will stick.
Stay sharp, Kenny.
