Here's the big sister to the
Li\\'l Osage Garter Snake
Made this one for my oldest daughter. She shoots left and outgrew her other bow.

From the same stave as Li'l Garter. You can see the crook is in the upper limb of this one and lower limb of the little one. Just flipped over.

She shoots three under so that lower limb looks stiff here. But evens out nicely at Full Draw.

See those dark lines about 1/8" below the back?
Those were checks I filled with super glue. Makes shooting even more exciting. Could explode at any moment!

Elbow, arrow, shoulders all lined up! I taught her that!     ;)

And cause I know you all want it; the full draw!

58" NTN, 35# @ 27" leather handle Tru-oil finish.
Holds about 1" of reflex when unstrung. Shoots hard and straight!

It's a great feeling to get the youngins involved in a sport that we hold so dear and are so passionate about ain't it? Good on you CJ!

It sure is Semo.

We're going to have a bow and arrow building party over here next week. Some of the students are out of school due to a testing schedule and want to learn so we've got an oak board bow and a few elm self bows along with boo and wood arrows and strings on the agenda. Should be fun!

Yeah Don, my children keep asking me if we can keep them that color because I told them it'll fade to brown. My little girls made some dye from the shavings and now have a yellow shirt and a bunch of yellow stationary!
