Great job on the tiller.

Looks just about perfect to me!

Goose,I don't think i'd touch it, how many shots do you have through it ?
It's a great day to be alive !!

Goose Gossett

Before the wife came home I put about a dozen through it.  Shooting off my hand and it's kickin them out pretty well.

She looks sweet Goose. Once you get the tips reduced she'll soften up a bit more.

nice bow. I think your full draw picture is skewed. the right limb looks a little high as if the horizontal plane of the handle area is not quite level. tiller looks good. congradulations.

I wish my self bows were tillered that well. How long is the bow?
I didnt miss, thats right where I was aiming

George Tsoukalas

Looks really good.  Only thing is I can hear her screaming in protest from being left at full draw for so long while you snap a pic. Have you ever thought of using a rope and pulley? Jawge

Goose Gossett

Thanks for the kudos y'all

Greg: The bow is 64" ntn

George: I have thought about a pulley system just haven't got around to it yet.  With the new house things just can't be attached to the wall without the wife's approval.  So, I'm trying to think of a system that is portable and movable but also stable enough to pull on and draw a bow.

Looking good! Congratulations!
You can attach a pulley right on the lower part of that 2X4. Not ideal but it will work.

Goose Gossett

Put about 75 shots through the bow today with this nice weather.  Shooting well and only about 1" of set

Good job Goose.

I agree with osagetree, "looks much better in the hand."

Eric Krewson

Unlike everyone else I thought the right limb in the tiller stick picture looked awful but in the full draw picture everything looks mighty good. Just shows how a picture taken from a slight angle can distort the subject.

Art B

Looking real good Goose !

That just goes to show you how the heel pressure of the hand brings that lower limb around Eric. Last thing you want to see om the tillering tree is evenly bending limbs if you grip a bow like Goose IMO.

That's what I've been preaching about. "Grip a bow for the way it was designed or design a bow for your intended grip"....Art

Art B: Great info and wisdom.

Eric: This is a picture of the bow bending from the other side.  There are a couple of rollercoasters on the right side of the tillering tree pictures that do make it look jankity.  With the full draw picture it is showing the opposite side which definitely makes it look better.

Thanks for the kind words and insight y'all!
