Ok I thought up a Brand or Marking for the bows I make. Let me know what you think and let me see what you have done. Thanks.

I like it  :)
Are you going to paint it on? Or get someone to make you a stamp or screen or similar?

I have been thinking about having a miniature branding iron made and burning it in Old School style. I think it would really stand out. I would probably have to just write on the first couple until I can get the branding iron made. What do you think?

Me likes it alot.  I would like to be able to do something like that on my bows,

hova

i like it , but you might have trouble getting the detail in a brand. the green in the arrow would have to be painted , but it could be done.

i think some silkscreen or model decal paper would work fine.

Camoman,

I like the design and the name!  By the way, are you the same Camoman on AT?

Always say what you mean, that way people will know you mean what you say.

A branding Iron would lose most of the fine detail. That is a great looking logo. You could have a decal professionally done that you could use under your finish. That would look great.

Are you all talking about something like a stick on decal?

I wouldn't be able to do the color in a branding iron, but I think if I close the letters in it would still show. I have to do a few tests with it to see if it will fit like I want it to.

Yes, I have been on Archery Talk a couple of times. One of the forums had 2 camomans not sure which one it was.

Consider this stuff:  http://www.decalpaper.com/default.asp
All the detail and colors you could want and you can make them yourself.

I haven't yet used it. I'm sure there are pictures on their website. They also have a YouTube video on the site showing a decal being applied.

its used a lot for model airplanes and such.

you could also print your logo on tissue paper or cellulose. there were some rolling papers a while back called "glass" , and they looked like plastic , but they were just clear cellulose. it was an interesting concept , but i dont know if anyone bought them.

theres also the option of transfer decals. a print shop could help you with this.

I used model decal paper to add my son's high school mascot to the bow we made. I think the quality of your decal will be directly proportional to the quality of your printer.

camoman

That looks pretty good. Does anyone else have pics of thier mark?
