What do you guys use to sign, or mark draw weight and such on bows, under poly? Thanks

Pat B

I've used a Sharpie but they eventually fade. I now use India ink with a coligraphy pen or a quill pen.

I use a Sharpie brand Paint pen.  It's oil based, and extra fine point.  It hasn't smeared once.  I picked it up at a craft store.

Why a marker, of course.  Use industrial Sharpie's.  They last longer than consumer versions which will fade in a year or less.  I've had industrial Sharpie's on bows for 10 years.

Im with Scrub-buster.. I use the sharpie brand paint pen.. I bought black and silver.. med and fine point.  Long as you  let it dry, it works great.

I use white India ink with a metal nibbed calligraphy pen.  I use it on bows, arrows and leather.  It works great for me.

I tried the India ink and calligraphy pen with the metal tip,but could never get it to work right. The tip keept diging into the finish. Now i use a fine tip art pen thats water proof.i still put a couple coats of finish over the writing.

The Sakura pen-touch paint pens work well, but I have changed to india ink and a quill pen.  I like the ability to write very small and fine, which I can't do with the paint pens.  Here is an example of each.

Oh yeah, the bottom one definately looks better. Do you know if anyone has ever tried a stamp of any kind? I read somewhere that Bear uses silk screen to put thier logo on, do you know how that works?
