I was on my morning hunt today and took a tumble with my selfbow in hand.I landed on some rocks and put a few nice gouges on the belly, mid limb.I sanded her down lightly in the damaged area, burnished, dyed and sealed the bow.The scratches run legnhtwise for the most part.Any input regarding longevity would be appreciated.glen

Hickory is tough. If these were on the back I'd be concerned but generally on the belly would be no problem.
