Wow! Love it.  How'd ya do it?  I was just thinking of taking camoflage cloth, impregnate with epoxy and sand it down super thin.

I just put the glue on the limb glass, put the camo netting on, put some more glue and worked it in, then put my wood laminations, I used elm this time, and did the same under the other side. I used it both front and back of the limbs.  The light in the photo makes it look like there are some air pockets near the ends but there is not. Came out better than I expected.

Looks good, I've been wondering if you laminate some type of thin cloth between the fiberglass and laminations, I guess that answers my question.

I was going to ask a similar question, very subdued look and I think quite natural. Very nice.. Would you have photos of the process anywhere?

Thank you for posting this...

I usually don't like camo limbs since it covers up the nice grain of the wood.  But in your case you can still see the wood grain.  I like it!

so looking at the mycarta thread, I've a question... what would camo cloth resined to a selfbow limb accomplish? Would that be practical or is just "gluing" the cloth to the limb a more appropriate approach?

Much Aloha...  :archer2:

if you mean fiberglassing some cloth on top of your stickbow ,if it didnt break your stick , id expect the glassing to break in the middle , or lift on the edges.

i dont do glass bows , so i could be wrong. all my glassin was meant to not move. at all. ever.
