My latest board bow...Question on arrow flight. PICS ADDED

I am almost finished with my second board bow. First one came in @ 30# @ 28". This one came in @ 41# @ 28". I went with 4est's board bow build along with my own tweeks. I carved an arrow rest into the riser. My arrows are kicking the feathers out to the left, so when it hits the target the arrow is sticking out to the left.

What can I do to fix this?

Sounds like your arrows may be too stiff. Try lighter spine or more weight up front. Will help the arrow bend around the rest.

First shoot it thru paper. look up paper tuneing arrows I believe, It will tell you how to set up the paper and what the holes in it mean.  You may be seeing the arrows over correction and it could be one or more things. Paper tunning will help ID the problems.

Thanks for the help. Had it tuned in shooting everything in a 4" circle. Was going to hunt with it thursday, thought one last shot, and WHAM!!! An unintentional two piece bow.

Am going to try to salvage into a takedown longbow for my youngest son. Guess we'll se how that goes. It's back off to the drawing board, and a trip for more wood.

It broke about 4 to 5 inches above the top end of the fade off the riser. I was unable to get any pics of the break as the wife has the camera. I am going to attempt an unconventional save. I am going to attempt a take down bow out of what is left. I'll get the camera and add pics of this attempt.

I always tell beginners to not glue on  a handle to their boards. Let the handle bend. It's so much easier to get a shooter that way. The time you spend trying to fix this bow you broke would be better spent making  a bend in the handle board bow. Later once you get some experience you do glued on handles and center cuts and whatever. There is a buildalong on my site. If interested I'll post it. Otherwise I'm not going to bother. Jawge

No offense taken. Always wanting to learn. But I am a little hard headed. (First step beyond denial - Recognition... LOL) Will still try the save though. Quitting now for me is accepting defeat, which I don't do well. Then I will try another one.
