How is Russian Olive as a bow wood?

It works as veneer in a laminated bow.
I did a bend test on a sample and it performed similiar to ash, but I never got around to building a self bow out of it.

nate it works well  it s about like workin hickory  make ur limbs a lil wider  about like ya would maulberry  i have tons of it it s a best kept secerat   for now but im sure once guys find out ur gonna see lots of em i relley like it finished with tru oil very butiful wood to look at brock

kelly  wish i did have some pic s  i gave those bows away  i did cut about 30 staves drying now  most were flat bows  im goin to try making a elb and a war bow with it see what happens  ill post some pic s  when dry enough brock

Not a bow picture but this is what russian olive looks like. I cut this tree tonight for laminations.
