My son has develope an interest in this style of archery too,but he wants yew wood.Were can I get it?He likes the hickory bow I made for him,even with all the patches on it.Thanks for showing me how to cover a splinter.

look in the classifieds for bow building material, there was a guy there selling yew. i got some from him and it was awesome stuff, beautiful grain.

thanks guy's,apparently what he want's is a traditional english longbow made of yew,and he wants me to build it.Aproximately 72" in length.He say's he found a place in Franklin,Tn that sell's or has access to bow wood's and traditional archery "stuff",anyone familiar with this store?
