marblewood thoughts

I picked up a piece of marblewood.  Interesting looking.
Has real course texture and open grain like wenge.  Seems
pretty dense.  Anyone have any experience with it?

Thats a nice light/dark contrast. Looks like it would make an interesting riser. Pup

I have a bow from Maddog that I had Mike use Marble wood for the riser. Very Nice. Would make nice limb veneers also.
