Whats your preferred method of putting on tips and overlays?I have stacked them up and epoxied them, let them cure, then applied them.I have also stacked them on the bow and let them cure that way.Seems it works both ways.Suggestions?

As long as there is not to much curve in the limb, I like to glue them together first then put them on the limb.  I can do some of the shaping and tapering before they are installed, makes it easier for me.  Too much curve in the limb you will either have to shape the glued up overlay to match the curve or put them on individually.

I like to do it in one step if possible.  I use Smooth-on for this as well.

I use loc tite super glue one at a time but can see how if you glue them and shape them first it would be a advatage.
