Amazing work!
Did you made blueprint for it? I would like to try to make it.

Will you eat that? If not, why did you kill it?

There I was, yesterday, at my buddies saw mill making rough lumber for future projects out of the black cherry trunks I pulled out of the woods thinking, "I am really getting something done."   And now I open up this thread and see that all I've accomplished is is saw dust compared to the intricasies of your creation.
Very impressive work.

Wow nice Spinner there! Beautiful work.

I made a very rough concept model of it in the 3D modeling program 'Blender'. But no usable blueprint or plan yet. It really was a figure it out as I go prototype project.

You all have been very kind, you've encouraged me to go ahead and make up some plans for it, and when time permits, maybe I'll make another one and do a build along with it.

Thanks again for all the kind comments gang!

Wow, I'm the one who is jealous here. I'd love to get my hands on some of that. Hardwood is difficult to find here in Western Colorado.

Beautiful work.  Cool for the lever idea!

Now that is probably one of the coolest inovations I have seen in archery ever! Plans and a build along would be awesome... or you could just tell me how much $$ you want for one of those!

Indeed this is a great product.  I would straight out buy one from you, I don't think I can reproduce something that nice.

Have you thought about going into production?

Captain J,
That is a very nice design, I have an affection for spine testers as the designer of the Spine-O-Meter.

Someone suggested filing a patent but I think that is a waste of money and time.

I wrote a paper on converting 26" and 28" measurements to pounds spine so if you need it check my website  www.oakcreekarchery.com.   I have been having a bit of trouble getting it linked from there so if you don't see it there send me you email address.

Captain J,

Thank you for sharing that incredible spine tester.  People like your self sharing your ideas and talents is what makes this site so great!  Keep up the great work, and as so many have said, "Look forward to a build-along".

Anyone miss this, check it out.

After watching the video I suggest a leather strap handle mounted to one of the long thin sides for easy carrying. You know,,, like a briefcase.
Please send me the plans or a link to the build-along!!!!!

Thanks again for all the comments gang.
I am working on plans as well as a build along, but it may be a while in coming. Busy time for my family right now.
I'm going to try a needle indicator model too.
Thanks again!

Very nice. I like the way it folds up. No damage during storing it...
