So I bought a stave at MOJam and started out on it up there.  Here is the tillered bow.  It's 51.5 lbs at 28" according to my Berkley fish scale.  It felt good and the first three shots at 15 yards didn't prove me wrong.

I still have to finish sanding and put a grip on it.  Maybe some tip overlays if I get excited but I'm content without them.

very nice, looks like a few shooters were started at mojam, might have to plan for the next one myself.

Looks good.  If you don't mind a bit of constructive criticism, read on.

I'd get the outer two-thirds on that top limb bending a bit more.  Shouldn't take more than 10 scrapes or so.  The bottom limb needs the same from midlimb out.  Also, looks like the tips could be narrower.  Get them down to less than 1/2" wide.  They look pretty thick too.

I'm all for the constructive criticism.  Thanks for the advice and I think I know what you guys are talking about.  If I find some time tonight I might work on getting it to final sanding and we will see where it goes from there.

Also, anyone have suggestions where to get some inexpensive skins to plaster on the back of this thing?

Kerry gave you a call and left my number.
