I am building a takedown recurve and need some opinions on the lams. I want a .250 total stack but im running into trouble with the taper and parallel thicknesses so here are my options.
option 1:
.40" glass on back and belly
.110" taper (.002" taper)
.60" parallel
or

option 2:
.40" glass on back and belly
.100" taper (.002" taper)
.70" parallel

Which one of these options would work the best, this is a very gray area for me. Thanks.

Either will work just fine.

If the binghams plan,I'd go with 110 and 60 so the parallel can bend over the wedge a bit easier, but probably wouldn't matter.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

I agree with Kenny, thinner will bend over the wedge easier.  Less chance of a thick glue line.
