THe deadline is fast approaching and I haven't seen several folks on the bow swap post.

I'm sure most are just working on them and been to busy to post.

If for any reason you think you may not make the deadline (DO NOT REPLY HERE) just drop me a PM and I will let the recipients know that all is well.

I know alot can happen when building a bow and a few have had to start over myself included but I don't want anyone worrying as this has went smooth and I would like to keep it that way. So if you have not posted in the last month or have not already shipped your bow just give me an update please.

This has been alot of fun and some really nice bows have been and are being finished and alot of happy trad gangers are looking forward to the next one. Several bowyers that did not make the sign up showed interest in doing it next year so we should have another great turn out.

I'm still in!

It's going to be a last minute thing due to adding a new dept. at work, vacationed for two weeks,,, which was then cut short a week by illness & weather (I can handle illness or weather but, not both!) and then came the medical tests......... Nothing resolved as of yet.

Anyway, hell or high water couldn't make me miss the deadline. So, If I didn't come thru and it aint post dated by july 3rd; I must have woke up dead.

I bet most are waiting till the last minute too...

How is your hand doing, if I remember, you had the same type of wrist surgery that I have had done.  Not trying to be nosey just wondering how it turned out.

It is still looking good for me. I'm concerned about hitting the wt. (do to recent bow falling short) that I need to and am taking it real easy.

I'm still in...I started a bow for the swap and then changed my mind, thinking I may go back to something a bit more in my comfort range to make sure that I ened with a good product I was proud to ship out...so I have 2 bows working right now, just haven't had the time lately to make it happen...Work is finally slowing down though, and I'm not having to travel out of town for the entire week, so I'll be back makin shavings here in the next few days.  Ill be sure to post a few pics next week some time

Mine is currently on the bench as well Kris. It seems like I have both sides of the family giving me honey do lists of things to make or fix or do for them, but they now have to wait! I'm hoping within a week this bad boy will get shipped out.

Sounds like some of us are having the same issues called life LOL

I ain't real worried if a few miss the ship date by a few days if needed, never know what could happen.
Thanks for the updates, Kris

I'm still in.  I will make the dead line.  I hope!!!  The black locust bow broke at 14".  I started over with an osage stave.  I chased the ring and have it profiled.  Should have it floor tillered by the weekend and on the tiller tree.

I am going to get some help this weekend with posting pictures.  I am not great with computher stuff.

John Scifres

I'm done tillering but I am pondering adding snakeskins.  I will make the deadline.
