DVSHUNTER..... Sweet!!! That's one good looking bow you got in the trade. What are the specs on it?

I'm sure there are several folks that could help you with a critical eyed critique if they could see both limbs clearly. One limb is nicely visible, the other... not so much. IMHO

I received my bow this week from 4est, and it shoots very nice, thanks. Haven't had much time to work on my bow lately between getting my first car and finishing up school, but I got the handle glued up and it's ready for tillering. just got to learn how to post pics now.

DVSHUNTER

mudd, it is 56in and is marked 60@26 for my short draw. She shoots pretty quick.

sticks, it looks like a slight hinge about seven inches out of the right fade. I had a spot like that on my trade bow... That I still need to put some leather on and ship!  But it looks good kris how was your first glue up?

Yeah Mudd I was thinking that when I put the pics up.  John Scifres took care of me though and emailed some pics with thr limbs laid over each other so I know where to tweek her.

The tillering is going very well so far on my tade bow. I would like to get some pics up soon to get some feedback. It is 55# @ 15" right now. I'm shooting for 60# @ 29".

Nice looking bow pics being posted here! So, Pat, you'll be getting my bow to me soon?  :)

I took pics today but Photobucket is goofing on me so I can't get them all downloaded. I'll keep trying and post more later.   Here are a few...

The two braced pics are from either side of the bow. I made this bow so it could be shot no matter which tip was up, thus the two floppy rests...and her name!

That's it for now. I'll get the money shots up later.

Oooo...I really like those carp skins.  Thanks for sharing your great work, Pat.  You really told that stave who was boss.  I especially like the cleverly placed blade of grass!

Better late than never!

Working on Bow #2.  The one on the right is a kids bow now.

Found this knot running almost the entire length of the bow.  There aint no bow #3 so hopefully it goes away.  I still have quite a bit more wood to remove so we'll see.

Here it is on the tree!

I just built my first tillering tree!  It's portable!  I just unclamp it from the bench when I'm done.  I denfately like being able to step back and watch the limbs flex.

Always wanted to try antler overlays.  Found this shed last after last season.  Any particular glue I should use other than tight bond?

I use epoxy for antler overlays.

Pat, that is a cool bow.  I'd love to get another set of those carp skins from Timo for my trade bow.  But I guess that's be copying off ya  :)
