Indian Style bows

This is all new to me so please bear with me as I try and figure this out.

These are the three Indian style bows I have been working on.They are all osage backed with sinew.

Ther bow at brace ht.is a bit of a brute for me anyways its 50#@26"& is 52"ntn.All three bows suprised me I cant believe the performence that sinew adds.The longer of the thre is 41#@28"& is 61"ntn.The other bow with the snakeskin design on the limbs is 50#@28"& 52"ntn.I will try to post better pics of that one.

that is just my draw 26" and i love short bows and 52" is real short that is way cool.  :thumbsup:

Those look great.
Are the drawings painted on the back authentic.
Do you have a source for the drawings?
I've made some youth bows and would like to do something like that.

The bows took me about 2 1/2 months to make and each bow shoots better than the next,I love sinew the paintings on them are just Ideas I got from lookin at other Indian artwork.I will probably start on two or three more and I think I will do a buildalong when I do.  :archer:  Thanks for the kind words.
