I have read in several spots about the Bingham Bow Plans. What are these and where can someone purchase them??
A bad day of hunting is still far better than a good day at work.

this 58 inch recurve is one of four I have built using Binghams design, I did change the grip to a lower wrist and I made overlays smaller too.

Pennsyltuckey, in the first bow picture, what types of wood are used in the riser.
That is one of the best, if not the best looking riser / wood combination I have ever seen. I keep coming back to it just to look at it again.

Here's another example of a Bingham Takedown.  You can see comparing mine to Pennsyltuckey's you have a lot of freedom to do what you want with a Bingham takedown riser.

Thank you for the compliment!

What would you say if I told you I don't Remember?????

Call me a Liar!  That is what you should do any way!  I agree with you on the pretty factor.  The riser core is a piece of bubinga.  The sides of the riser is a highly figured piece of curley maple.  My intent was to represent a "log" of wood with a dark heartwood and light growth wood.  Came out way better than I expected.  Here are some other shots of the bow if you are interested.    ;)

THANKS FOR THE INFO PENNSYLTUCKEY. AFTER i COMPLETE MY THREE LONGBOWS THAT ARE IN THE PROCESS, I WANT TO BUILD A TAKEDOWN RECURVE. BUT I DON'T THING I WANT TO GET INTO THE LIMB LAMINATIONS AT THIS POINT. SO I WOULD LIKE TO BUILD MY OWN RISER AND PURCHASE THE LIMBS FROM SOMEONE.
