Board Bow

This is my first bow that i have made and it was a red oak board bow. it wa 60" ntn.I am wondering why it broke. I am wanting to make another bow out of a 1" by 2" by 70" board what should i make out of this?

The best way to post pics IMO is create a photobucket account then upload your photos there. Once you've done that create a new post or reply and paste the URL of the photo into the box after you have selected the "Image" button in the "Instant UBB code" on the bottom of the reply screen.

Posting some pictures and the details of what happened will go a long way in someone positively identifying your problem.

60" is pretty short for your first bow (unless your draw is 18").  Try your next one around 68-72" and it will be more forgiving.
