Hey guys I ment to make a 55 pound hackberry self bow but do to my impatiance and lack of skill no doubt it turned out to be 47 pounds! After i shoot it in it will probably be around 45:knothead: but it stil zips an arrow pretty good.
I was plannin on hunting hogs in january with it.
Is this too weak do ya think? its 64" i could take it down an inch or two and it would be stiffer.

Should be enough, but you need to make sure you know where the vitals are  http://www.texasboars.com/anatomy.html.
Ask me about CTO.

I wouldn't be shy about shooting a hog with it if the hog was under 200lbs, i was within 20 yards and had sharp broadheads. As chester says - know your vitals on hog - they are deceiving!  :)

Was thinking about your first posts a week or two ago the other morning... had SEVERAL (about 20+ hogs) running around in the back pasture the other evening.
