after 2 simi sucessful one pc longbows, Ive started my 1st 3pc. I got the limbbolt inserts from bingham and some from a buddy. when you drill, what size bit do you use. do I measure outside the threads or inside the threads. also what glue do you guys use. I got a jig to keep everything in line. thanks Don

You should probably spend a few more buck with Bingham and order the plan.  It's worth it.
Now then, get your weapons ~ your quiver and bow ~ and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.  Gen. 27.3

You want a 27/64" drill bit for the holes and a 1/2" NC13 tap to thread the riser wood.

Mike Most

I used devcon 2 ton epoxy, for the inserts, available at Walmart for a couple of bucks, Becareful, dont use so much that the bottom of the holes fill up.

good Luck

cut in temporary string grooves and gave her some multiple pulls on the tiller tree. I figure if it's gonna blow up I want it to at this point.

this is what the grip looks like. Kinda used one of my Rick Welch bows that I like.

It turned out 58" 49@ 28 and shoots right where I look. Proably gonna be my hunting bow this year. DB
