Double string nocks/Osage bow

I cut double nocks in this bow. I got the idea from a picture in Glenn St.Charles book
"Billets to Bows". I cut them in 3/4"down from the longer ones,upper and lower limb, and the bow gained 6# in draw. No increase in string follow.I figured I would shoot it heavier in the early season and lighter when the weather turns cold. The bow is the sleeve handle T.D. I posted here acouple of weeks ago.

I did that once and then my mentor pointed out to me that essentially when the string is on the outer nocks you have weakened the tips right at that lower nocks. I agreed. Jawge
