This is the first take down I tried to make and I finished it this morning.  I forged this blade with Shane at the Ohio ABS hammer in.  I learned a great deal that weekend and also learned a great deal getting this knife together.  The finished product has many flaws but also many lessons were learned. Its a 1095 blade, 416 guard and cocobolo handle.

Great job Brad! You are coming right along as a knifemaker!
Time spent alone in the woods puts you closer to God.

"Can't" never accomplished anything.

Lin Rhea

Good job Brad.

I have to agree with Bill.   :campfire:

When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.
