I recently completed an ABS "Handles and Guards" class at the Old Washington Forge in Arkansas- the instructor was our very own Lin Rhea, Master Smith

Here's one of the knives I worked on during the class....it's a hunter, of 5160, differentially heat treated, with 416 stainless guard and peened pin, and desert ironwood handle.

The other side of the ironwood is actually the prettier side and I'll try to post pics of that sometime Friday.

There are mistakes- at least I know what they are and won't make those particular ones on the next project!

Thanks for looking.

Looks fantastic. The wood has nice grain-looking forward to the other side pics. From the photo you have, fit and finish looks really nice and great job on the domed pin. I'm really wanting to give that a try... And I'm with you on the mistakes. I have a really tough time seeing a finished knife I made and knowing all of the little things I wish were better on it. But just like you said-the next one won't have them  ;) .

Great job and thanks for posting it.
