Seems I had it all along.  A long time ago, I use to die my wood arrows with Rit clothing stain mixed with denatured alcohol.  So I tried some Rit Fuchsia stain on a piece of figured maple...tippit

Glad you found something for her.  She'll look beautiful with that pink knife hanging on her belt.  Wish I could see her face when she sees it.
