I have many sheds from over the years and would like to get a knife or two made.  Does anyone on here make hunting knives which we could work out a trade or deal?  I am willing to pay as well as supply more antlers for their use.

One of the problems you're going to run into is finding a whitetail antler straight enough. Most have a two-way curve and it's tough to find a piece long enough for a handle that isn't curved both downward and sideways at the same time. The little spike horns are too skinny and a mature buck has some pretty curvy horns up there. That's one of the reasons (aside from having less pithy cores) that sambar stag is so sought after. They grow nice and straight.

There is always the option of buying a blank or two and doing the handle yourself. There are some blanks that are ready for you to just put your own spin on the handle.

I will say beware of the addiction of knife making. N
Advise on how to is available here. The satisfaction is great. I also like to pull mine out during slow times on the stand and think of what I might change on the next one. Add joy to the hunt, successful in getting a critter or not.
