Well finally joined as an "Associate" sponsor.  My reasoning isnt necassarily to sell knives here on Tradgang, as I am woefully behind now anyway.  HOWEVER,  I have been somewhat reluctant to post here in the "Hunting KNives and Crafters" area as I was not a sponsor.   I didnt feel comfortable posting a bunch here,  posting photos etc...

So basically now I will be posting here more,  not that it matters much... but I do have some very hard earned knowledge to share   ;)

That's great. I was hoping you would share with is. I see you post in Pow Wow and I for one would love seeing more of your stuff here.

Matt,
I'm glad to see this. I myself have gotten an associate sponsorship to pay back a little of the information I get about bows and equipment. I have made it a point NOT to use this forum as a means to advertise, but honestly, there is a point where it's hard to tell it. I have made several friends through tradgang and that's the main motive for my being here.

If someone sees a knife and if it's available and they want it, they can email me or PM me. That's welcome, of course. But, I wont talk money or specifically use the TG for that purpose on this forum.

Terry has gone out of his way to be friendly and welcoming to me. I appreciate that. Purchasing a sponsorship at some level is the least I can do.

It's main purpose is to pass along tips and help about the subject and that's what I attempt to do.

'Bout time, Matt.
There is not one good reason to NOT become a member here.
I know we hang out on a lot of other knife-type forums, but the pure desire and interest here amongst all the members to improve our knife making endeavors and share with each other is incomparable.
Somehow, someday, we've got to put together a Trad Gang Knife Symposium!

Per the forum rules it's fine for sponsors and assoc sponsors to advertise for sale on this forum. If you so chose not too that's your choice.
Passing on knowledge is a great thing and is much appreciated by myself, and many others I'm sure.
It is a hunting knife forum. It seems to be getting away from that in some regards. Just my 2 cents.
Thanks for supporting the site.

Well I guess since I have a web site I have to become a "full" Sponsor or none at all,  and really I wasnt planning on doing it for purely commercial reasons as im far behind as it is.  So.....  will likely just put the Associate Sponsor payment I sent for a contribution.

That said,  I will be posting here more on purely an informational basis.

Looking forward to more of your posts and I for one know I am becoming a better knife maker due in great part to this site and the fine bunch of craftsmen that share so much valuable information.   :clapper:
