All you forgers....

I would like a small belt axe forged.

I have a pattern:

I want it to attached to the handle like an axe (meaning wedges not slid up the handle like a tomahawk).

I will do the finish work and make the handle as well.  I guess all I really need is for it to be forged and heat treated completely....

I would rather trade, but will pay if we cannot trade (may take me a bit o' time to save up though!).

For trade I have:

flat stock of 5160 (3" wide X 18" long X 1/4" thick)I have 2 pieces.
a 100% italian wool blanket
a crap ton of rr splikes
goddard's $50 knife shop (updated 100% color ed.)

PM me if you are interested and we can work out something.  I am not opposed to sending the trade goods or money first

Mods:If this is is the wrong sections please move...

Ragnarok Forge

That design will skin well, and is a great fighting design.   It will not perform very well when chopping wood.  To much arc at the forward curve of the blade.  Just my thoughts based on a bunch  of design experience.

That is the exact reason!  I really want it as a butchers tool more than anything......
What would you charge to make the head?
