Trace the knife out on a piece of cardboard or stiff paper and make your own pattern. Give yourself a 1/4" or slightly more for the stitching and maybe add a gusset(thicker leather along the blades edge, sewn between the two halves). The gusset will protect the stitching from the blade.
 Leave the back long so you can fold it over to make a belt loop.
Make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes!
