I thought I would post pics of a heavy duty hunter I recently finished.  The blade is made from 1/4" 8670M carbon steel.  I really like working with this stuff.  It has a deep hollow grind and a chiseled front end for good "poking" ability, for starting cuts on game.
The cutting edge is 4" and the overall length is a little over 8".
The handle is stabilized bacote.
Thanks for looking.  Dan

Thanks!
Good grinds come from practice, and use of good belts.
