I made this for a fella on Stickbow.

1084
Maple Burl
5" OAL
Copper Lanyard tube
steel pin
Temper finish

I modified the sheath to hold the knife in place since this thing sits horizontally on the belt.  A solid little work knife!  And I'm finally starting to get my distal tapering down... I guess I should post a pic for that....

Scott, very nice work!  Looks like a great knife to have on your side!

I like the recurve edge.

Thanks a lot fellas.  I'm still carrying the other one that I made and still really like that little sheath.... especially now that I added that strap for security. But the blade on this knife is far superior due to the fact that I didn't grind it all away trying to true up my plunge line...

Grinding is getting easier and faster... especially now that I built a little flat grinding jig to run across the rest.

So... do most of you experienced folk use some kind of grinding jig/guide... or have you found that it is better to learn to free hand it???

thanks everybody...  I'm at the Smokey Mountain hammer in right now and have been getting some great ideas to improve the sheath. And every aspect of my work for that matter.
