I have been thinking (belt grinders)

I was wondering if anyone put any thought to a Treadmill I found one that has a Impulse 2.25 THP Drive Motor with a controller with speeds of 0-10 mph. Wanting a horizontal belt grinder.

Could I be up for the Nobel peace prize of the knife grinder award.
or the irreverence thinking of a drunk red neck????
and back to the drawing board .. ha ha little hummer this morning.

You might be on to something, if it works it would be a cheap source for a variable speed motor.
