I would like some of Y'alls thought's on what kind of sheath would work for this. Pictures would help.
I'm callin it a buffalo skinner.
Made from plow steel This is about the sixth  one that I actualy pounded out . Learnin curve is pretty steep right now. I pre shaped a drop point and it came out like this. Metal moves all directions when smacked with a hammer grasshopper!!!! Still like what I got !
Blade is 4and 3/4" handle is 4 and 1/2" heavy steel not quite a 1/4" thick
handle is recycled birch flooring and some dark exotic scraps laminated together.

Sheath 4 layers thick of 9 oz leathjer stitching is through the welt's.
Thanks to ALL Y-ALL

That one would look good in a rawhide sheath with a buckskin cover.

Sweet knife...I can see how that blade shape is giving fits as far as dressing it.

I dont have any pics, but the gerhka(sp?) knives come to mind, and their wooden-leather sheath.
