My first knife

I saw a post in the how to resources forum on how to build a knife using an old circular saw blade so I had to try it. This was my first attempt to make my own blade. This knife making is pretty addicting! I have already started on my next.
Its not the size of the animal you hunt that matters. Its how you hunt the animal.

Is that finger guard a antler base/burr?  If so that is a great idea!  I like it!  Very nice job from where I'm sittin!

Yes it is an antler burr. I will try to post some bigger pics tommorow I'm still a little nervous about using photobucket.
