I wonder how many saw this and thought I was posting a tutorial, but alas, I am looking for information on how to build one.

If any of you leather working artisans would like to share, I know I would love to learn how to do it.  Bet I ain't the only one either.

Thanks

I would like to do a tutorial on sheith makeing. crossdraw or otherwise, but I don't know the right way to do leather work. I just know my way. I will do one if it it can go both ways. Meaning that after the tutorial, all the realy good leather guys out there will chime in and tell me what I can do diferent to make it beter.

If y'all can wait a while, I've got 2 crossdraw sheaths to make (as soon as the knives are finished!) Probably be the back end of this week.
I'll happily photgraph as I go & do a buildalong if you like. My leatherwork isn't the best by any means, but it'll give you a few clues & tips (hopefully!)

El oso and Rob,

I wouldn't mind seeing how both of you do it. Kind of like may things the more options the better off you are when it comes to learning stuff.  I usually watch or get ideas from different folks and then blend them into my own style.

Thanks for the offers guys

Rob. If you have a crossdraw to do than please do it. I have a plain Jane sheith to make, and I will do one on that. How dose that sound?

Here, this might help. This is a very good knife site. I have made several crossdraws from these pictures.  http://www.britishblades.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39713&highlight=crossdraw
