Dymondwood scales, dovetail bolsters well kinda!

Just finished this one up for a buddy coworker of mine. He's a dire hard local sportsnut of a local college who's colors happen to be blue and gold. So my last order from Jantz I thought I'd try this scale material and make him a knife! He loved it and I thought it turned out decent. I tried doing dovetail blosters and was afraid of making the dovetails too extreme but in reality could have made them a little more angled. They actually are a little more dramatic than the pics show but still I think they need more angle. For those who follow sports these colors ARE NOT Michigan colors! lol

It looks nice LC.  I think the dymondwood scales are fun to work with.  The colors fading, feathering, and changing are pretty cool.
I made this knife for my WWII Veteran/POW grandfather.  He was absolutely shocked when I presented it to him.  It was the closest to red, white, and blue I could get.

Heck no problem, leftieshot! This is the first time I've worked with dymonwood and like how it worked and finished. Bet your grandfather was pleased! By the way, tell him a big thank you from me! Man those dudes was TUFF! I can only imagine what they went through. My hats off to all veterans.
