Ive seen threads on here about guys shooting there walls, cabnets, a/c's and all kinds of things, well I didnt actully hit anything but got as close as you can.

I can shoot 20 yards in my back yard but if i open tha back door and shoot from the den i can get about 27 yards. I have to shoot through the den just past the frezzer and the just past the door jam. My wife always says am crazy doing this. I always tell her "no problem" there is a big enough shooting lane.

Well i got a little close tonight. Had a bad release.

wtpops--Don't be too hard on yourself. Door jams are notorious for laterally jumping the string.

My wifes washing machine has a nice little hole in it, well.. it was raing and i just got some new arrers so i took the cushions off the old ratty sofa in the den(we were about to throw it out anyway) I put them in the doorway of the washroom and stood by the fireplace at the far end of the house, about 18yards.......you know the rest of the story  !!

Been there. I can sit on the back of my couch and shoot out thru the den and into the kitchen and get 13 yards. I had a bag target sitting on the wet-bar and put on thru the back and killed the blender. The bad thing was I just turned it aroound in the holder and the wife went to make marguiritas the next evening, poured everything in and turned back to add the ice and it was runnung all over. I remember watching an NBC special on one of the Olympic archers back in '96 or thereabouts who had a  similar set up.  He shot from across the street through the garage, out the back door at a target in his back yard.  All in all I think it was about 70 yards.

A couple of months ago I was shooting at my Glen Dale Buck in the back yard. It is small and all I can get is about 18 yds from fence to fence. Missed high and went through gap between boards and missed the neighbors car by 2". Needless to say I put a 4x8 sheet of plywood behind now. Ripped all the flectching off a newly finished sweetland.    :scared:      :knothead:      :banghead:

A few months ago, I set my "block" target in my driveway, to check out something with my bow, my release, etc. (I forget what it was)
Anyway, I was shooting about twenty five feet (!!) with the target under a flood light on the house. (it's dark)
Did I mention I was rushing??
First shot, horrible release, missed the target.
Arrow deflects of the paved driveway, and vanishes into the darkness, passing over my neighbor's driveway, into "his" wooded lot.
I keep waiting for the day THAT arrow is found..

A gust of wind caught one in my back yard one day, and it went over the target, over the sheet of plywood, through the fence, through the neighbors backyard, accross the street, up another neighbors driveway, and well steel points are harder than steel garage doors.  I got to move.........

Ok I've shot many things, but the worst was my truck. Last year my truck caught a glancing blow from an arrow. Only made a nice chip in the paint. I also got a shed with a few holes in it.
