Nice pics as always Mr. Lamb!!!

How does that Asbell haversack perform in conjunction with the Hill style gear? I've been eyeing them for a long time and hunting season nears.......

Bud... I find Fred's haversack to be a fine compliment to back quiver and longbow. It would even do fine with a side quiver.

Great pictures Mr. Lamb! Love seeing the Hill style put meat on the table.

Nice catch on Howard's fingers, Lambow.  That's exactly what I was talking about.  Studying photos of him can reveal a lot about his technique.

Charlie, I love the shots of you with the Bobwhites (great shooting     ) and the bull elk.  And just out of curiosity, what type of broadhead did you shoot that hog with?  Man, that's some blood.

And FalseCast, here's a shot of my one and only longbow harvest to date.  Fortunately, it was my one and only longbow shot at game as well.  Batting a thousand so far.  I'm sure that won't last, but I hope to put a few more cottontails on the table this fall.  That little all yew longbow was built in 1976 and has a lot of years left in it.

Two4hooking... That's a picture of an old friend of mine, Russ Ecklund. We were on a backpack hunt high  in the Wyoming Rockies. We were young and tough and packed out the quarters on our backs. Five miles of hell even then.

Russ passed on several years ago. I miss him and the many good times we shared with bow in hand.

Charlie,
Man-oh-man I really like the jacket!!!! Is that some kind of "ace in the hole" hanging from your bow in the pic with the buck?

but the chase."

Blaino.... I loved that jacket as well. It was marketed by the Kittredge Bow Hut as their Bowhunters jacket. I forget who made it. I gifted it to Terry Green several years ago. I outgrew it finally.

The thing on the bow is a single arrow "keeper" that I made. I never used it much. Pretty simple to make from just about any leather.

Nice pictures Mr. Lamb, thanks for sharing those with us. What year was that picture taken with the steel wheeled manure spreader in the back ground? That's a great photo, and no dought a memorable day.
