you'd think the guy had never seen a longbow before.

I have to teach a night class tonight, but I'm heading home to meet the postman, fondle and drool over it a little, and then drive back for class. I'll try and get at least one pic posted tonight but it may be late so hang on, the rest will follow shortly I promise!

This thread is really getting to me! At first, I was just amused that so many guys shared my enthusiasm for Hill bows, but as I read, and read, and read, I started to want, and want and want. Now I have visions of a Redman or perhaps a halfbreed dancing in my mind. You guys are about to get me in very serious trouble with the wife. But what the heck, life is full of trouble anyway, so maybe I can face up to it one more time.

Blueridge

Aw go ahead Sam. I bought a Wesley Special and a Big 5 within the last 3 1/2 months and will order a Redman or Tembo soon. Craig builds a great bow and the women will get over it.-

Same here Blueridge. I've bought 1, traded 1, and sold 1 this month, and like you, Craig has heard from me also.

Tim,
Could you do me a favor and send or post a pic of the HH mystery wood "Chi Chen"

I have tried my darndest to find it on the net but there is no reference...nothin..

far rider

Tony, Guy I traded my Ebony Wesley to said this is the Chi Chen riser. I have to take his word for it as it is a mystery to me also.

The only other wood that even looks close to this is the Light Shedua, but the grain is a little different.

Far Rider "ain't it fun!" I think I want a Redman , its different but  I like the look of a Myrtle riser and like the way bamboo shoots. Never shot an all yew bow or how it will compare to the Wesley and Big 5

bigjohnmissalot

far rider that looks like verawood riser, it is what"s on my HH wild boar

Tim,
That is cool!  I really like the color and the unique grain pattern.  A nice neutral riser choice.

Pretty bows, aren't they?

-edit-

John, I just did a search for verawood...you're right..it is! (must be)

Mudd

I saw the name of that riser wood listed in Craig's list of wood choices, beyond that all I can add is....I like it.

God bless,Mudd
