The riser is Bacote.

And yeah, They feel different. The Robin Hood is only 55#. This bow is 100#.

I love the Robin Hood bow. Mine is dual shelf and is soooooo smooth. I love it.

My Elephant Bow is super smooth, too. But, if you are not used to the hand shock that thing generates it will rattle your teeth.

Here are a couple pictures of my Howard Hill Dual Shelf Robin Hood.

I am pleased to announce my old Redman "The Chief" made it back home this morning.(Thank you TW)

We have about 6"'s of new unexpected snow on the ground this morning but I was determined to fling an arrow out of him.

I have to say it was as if "Chief" hadn't ever been gone at all. I only missed my intended mark by about 1/4".

Feels awesome to have my old buddy back in my hands.

God bless,Mudd

This thread is causing pain to my wallet!     :p          ;)     Look what I have coming from Stabow!  She has juniper lam on the back and bamboo on the belly side under clear glass and the deer inlay.  Boy....I'm cranked!

Yeah, Tony, I'm a really sick puppy with this "bug" that's going around.

Got my Big Five back from HH today. They took a few pounds off and put the locator grip on it. I gotta say that is running neck to neck with my Mohawk for being my number one longbow ever....and I`ve had a bunch. The new grip is the best feeling grip I`ve shot on a longbow. Positive hand placement everytime. RC

Now daggumit RC, I just got my Cheetah back from Craig. I had it reduced and re-finished and was agonizing over having my dished grip changed to the locater. Was you're old grip straight or dished and did it make a big difference?

:archer2:  Mudd, right now my breed is by far my favorite bow to shoot., as she's a looker to boot!
