My brother Danny had a scare two nights ago. Thought he was having a massive heart attack. Went to hospital, blood pressure very high. He goes for a chemical stress test tomorrow to check his heart out. Please pray for him.

I am truly humbled. Thank you all. All is fine. The blood tests showed no damage to my heart. Still waiting for the stress test, Naval Hospital cannot do it so referred to a clinic out in town and working out the insurance details, looks like I have to go see another doctor with the HMO to get the referral to have my insurance pay for it, Military Tri-Care would cost me too much, My HMO will cover everything except a $20 Dr. visit and $40 co-pay. Tri-Care wants $150 plus 25% of the cost, not going that route,LOL. Sucks that I gave the military the best years of my life and now am treated like a red headed step-child.

Thanks for the prayers, I sure need them.

I heard your delemma and struggles loud and clear. Our own Doc Ashby has the same problem with his retiree govt insur. Been suffering a lot to get to see anyone about a bad foot and bad knee...terrible! but if you were a congressperson for only 2 years..you're set for life!  :(

Got an appt. with the HMO Dr. on the 19th so hopefully will be able to get the stress test soon after that.
