Ya, lost my job. It's a long story. Thing is, I am at peace with it. My husband even mentioned something about me making and selling archery tackle full time to help the family financially. That in it's self is an answer to prayer. A dream come true.

I was just wondering if you all could pray for guidance for our family. My husband's factory closes at the end of Dec. We are at peace with this also. He is already getting job offers.

Thanks everyone,
Bona

Amen prayers sent for wisdom. Here's something that God did for me that has helped me be at peace when I don't know how the future will go.
  He\\'s already there
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Been over 6 months here...got a great replacement job and spent 4 weeks preparing, finding new digs at the other end of the state only to be called up 11 days before they paid movers showed up and the company told me they "reorganized."

Better'n being out there, settled in and then lose the job!

Hasn't been anything since, so I can really get hinked out reading about folks losing jobs! But there are others with family here like C2 and Benha and Nutmeg that also don't have work...and families

It's going to be a rough ride for some of us, but I admire and love the faith you share.

Helps the rest of us!

Bona, you have my prayers as you and your husband reshape your lives.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Anyone know how Bona is fairing? See her post on Pow Wow, but no idea if she's still not working.

Let's keep these folks up top a while...not to exclude the myriad of other good needs, but these folks have just rather disappeared and weigh heavy on my heart.
