Well just wanted to say hi. My Dad lost a battle with pancreatic cancer about 2 weeks ago. Dad was my best buddy , I miss him every day , but at least he is in a better place , and is not in pain anymore...he was tough as nails , and fair...there were more than 300 at the funeral..Im trying to get back to something normal...God bles , Mark#78

Mark
Your enite family are in my prayers.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Amen prayers for you and your family.
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Tough times call for tough role models! Sounds like your Dad was just the one you needed in life to give you direction.

Lean on those memories and he will always be with you.

Blessings on all of your family!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Mark you are in our prayers also.  I lost my Dad on Oct. 3 so I understand very much what you are going through.  My Dad and I were also very close and good friends.

My condolences to you and your loved ones.

I've lost both my parents and a sister. It takes time but eventually the grief and sorrow will turn to fond memories of the times you had together.

I was wondering what happened to you. You vanished right after the storm. We had a post up asking about you but it was pulled.
