I am awaiting the arrival of a vintage Damon Howatt Diablo. It is 58" 45#@28" serial number EDS4737.  Can anyone tell me when this bow was made?

Horney Toad

I think early 1960s, let us know how you like it!

I'm thinking 1964 but would like to confirm that. I'll post some pics when I get it along with my 74 Super Diablo.

Blackhawk

1964?

I think they became 60" bows in 1966.

You can not tell the age of a Howatt bow by the serial # alone , you must know wood type  and what was offered that year for models.
Pictures help allot.
