I just got a '62 Kodiak 60" 45LBS and I'm having a few issues with it. What brace height are you useing  and do they tend to have some hand shock.

Thanks

Mine is 8 1/2"  No shock, just a great shooting bow.
If it was 5lbs lighter I would be hunting with it.

The 62s that I actually shoot seem to vary some in the BH they like.   I have one in the range of 8.25" and another down around 7.75".  Go figure.

Handshock?  That has to be the first time I've heard that term mentioned during a discussion of 62 Kodiaks.

I'm at a loss as to what could cause handshock in one.  Keep us informed if you find the source or cause.

Around 8" and no hand shock at all.

Arguably one of the best Bear bows made. Never had an issue with  HS.

Check the tiller.  Maybe the limbs are off.  I like the bottom limb 1/4" less at the fades than the upper limb.
