Wondering when the first plastic glue on nocks were developed?

What year would people have started shooting them?

Was it the stotler nock the first?

ARIZONA ARCHERY ENTERPRISES claim to be the original, anyone know the year these came out?

that is interesting?  I would think that Stotler or mercury nocks would be older than plastinocks.

The first nocks I believe were aluminum. Think the first plastic nocks were the index nock.

Arizona Archery may have had the forst "snap" nock but I'm sure the index, mercury and mid nock were before snap nocks.

I don't know the name/who manufactured these aluminum nocks but I was told they started making them in the 30s.

I don't know the name/who manufactured this one but I would think it may have preceeded the ARIZONA ARCHERY ENTERPRISES Plastinock.

Bottom is the Mid-nock later to become the Stotler. If not the first then very close. I'm old, but they were out before I started shooting.
I am going to say the plastic( or some form of nylon etc) was late 30s.

I thgink the Mid-nock was in 1928 or 1932 can'f find my note. I think the Aluminum was before then.

Yah, the aluminum nock was late 1920's and mid nock probably in 1930's. Can't say for sure about the index nock but think it is around the same time. Would have to go through my Silvan Archers to see when the first ads showed up.
