ok, i had someone give me a bear cub recurve in a trade for some ammo and pistol grips.  it 62' 44#@28"  .  its a blonde color wood with blonde glass on the belly and dark green glass on the back.  i have not looked up to numbers on it yet but it has 1958 (i think ) on it.  is this the year it was made.

The 62" Cub recurve were 1964-68. The first digit of the serial number will tell the exact year 5-65, 6-66, 7-67 8-68 any other number 64. The 1953 is the patent date present on all Bear bows 1953-mid 72.
