Sounds like 1964.  Will be hard to tell with the camo...Let us know, and I would love to see pics of this bow!!!

Wow, Sounds like a cool bow.

I agree with Colin, 1964. Only year that it should have a serial number like that and be 58".

JavelinaHink

I don't seem to have the option to add pic's, at least I don't see it, its been awhile since I've done that here maybe somethings have changed here. I could email someone with them or go to another site where I posted them, they seem to think it may be a 61 frame, sorta looks that way to me also.......Thanks, Hink

I checked out the pics. I think I will stay with a '64.

Sweet looking unit!

Thanks Nick......Hope it arrives soon. The bow belonged to Floyd Eccleston . It will make a nice addition to the display of his items I have...Hink

Nice Score!!

Sounds like a super collection. Congrats!

Bjorn

Yeah '64 it is 58" and that would make sense. I have had a couple-great shooting bow. The fact it belonged to Floyd is everything!

JavelinaHink

Hi Bjorn, Thanks, I was happy when I got the chance to get this. His son Rich told me he thought it was a 1966 that was sent back for the added compass, bushing, leather grip and camo paint job for Floyd. I don't have any later grizzly's to compare the riser to, but will know more when it arrives for sure. It really doesn't matter the year to me but just wanted to see what all the bow guys thought....Thanks to all.....Hink

The serial number indicates a '64 and this is what it would look like without the paint. These are '64s and '65s which had the same zebrawood risers.

Jack- No wonder I can't find any Zebrawood Grizzly's,you've got them all at your house!

Jack Shanks

John, not all of them but I do have a couple others.

Nice looking bows you have there, and I'd say you have that right 1964 for my bow. I might have to look for one like yours to add to the collection.......Thanks for the pictures Jack...Hink
